Black History Month – Packing Punch

Our February Mentor activity was a Black History event, “Packing Punch”, held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Freehold Boro YMCA. The event, planned by mentors Pam and Michael, included a guest speaker, learning about stepping, youth choreographing a dance, display of black art for review/discussion, and a sampling of African American dishes.

Being Who You Choose To Be

Our FINCC girls attended a conference in Newark! Thank you to two of our awesome mentors Suzanne and Annette for your dedication to the girls. It’s about “Being who you choose to be, not who others choose to see”. #NewarkNJ #Forgirlswhohaveconsideredpolitics #FINCCgirlsmentees

Wall Street Experience

We have finalized the details of the Wall Street Experience mentor-mentee activity. We will drive in one vehicle (15-passenger van) to New York’s financial district for a tour. The estimated departure time from New York back to Freehold is 1pm.

Vision Boarding

We are super excited to announce our next Mentee/Mentor activity. The mentors will provide pizza and salad for the girls, plus all the supplies needed. Please confirm as soon as possible, stating whether or not your child will attend, as preparations must be made.
