Follow our inaugural FINCC Robotics Team’s progress as a rookie team in the 2017 FIRST Tech Challenge robotics competition!
September 24 – FINCC’s Robotics Team meets to learn the rules of the game for this year’s First Tech Challenge and get ready to build their “Relic Recovery” robot.
September 30 – A group of FINCC Robotics Team members attends an FTC Practice Day held at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School to network and learn from other more experienced teams.
October 15 – FINCC’s Robotics Team learns fundamental programming concepts and assembles their “Relic Recovery” robot for the first time.
October 22 – Practice makes perfect: After the robot is taken apart, FINCC’s Robotics team re-assembles it and learns to download the Robot Controller code to get ready for the first Southern Region competition held at the Girl Scout of the Jersey Shore PAC in Farmingdale.
