Friends in Need Children’s Center was founded by a mother and son team who had the desire to give back to our New York and New Jersey communities, with a focus on minority children, by providing educational support services that would enhance social and academic growth within young children.

Friends in Need Children’s Center was formed for the purpose of carrying out educational and nonpartisan civic engagement activities dedicated to improving the academic and social development of minority children and their families, while also cultivating their minds, bodies, and spirits through unique methods and techniques in a nurturing environment.
