{"id":8669,"date":"2020-12-28T12:26:54","date_gmt":"2020-12-28T17:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cfsri.org\/?p=8669"},"modified":"2020-12-28T12:26:54","modified_gmt":"2020-12-28T17:26:54","slug":"thank-you-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/childrensfriendri.org\/2020\/12\/28\/thank-you-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Thank You for your support in a challenging year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we reflect on and say farewell to this challenging year, the words that keep coming to mind for me are \u201cThank You.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, thank you to all of our generous donors who stepped forward in safe and socially distant ways to provide gifts for over 1,200 families in our Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive.<\/p>\n<p>Our friends and donors were with us all year long, not just during the Holiday Drive. From the first-ever 401Gives Day in April to donated meals from struggling restaurants for our hungry families, making the first virtual Investing In Our Children Luncheon in the Fall our most successful luncheon ever, you allowed us to step up and meet the needs in our community.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to our staff, who put their passion, energy, flexibility, and innovative spirit into action.
